Whiskeyjack Collies is a small hobby kennel located 45 min. north of Saskatoon, Sask. We have been involved in collies for many years, and produced our first litter in 1997. We have both rough and smooth collies in our breeding program. We produce one to two litters per year.
As with other breeders, our breeding program is a work in progress, striving with every litter to be better than the one before.
The goal is not to look like a particular dog, but rather to align with the Collie Standard, not just in appearance but in temperament as well. We are involved primarily in conformation with a number of champions to our credit and are slowly becoming more involved in herding and other aspects of dog performance.
We are relatively new to this location, having moved from BC. We are active members of the CKC, and prior to our move had been very active in the West Kootenay Kennel Club.
